Valentina Tomada

Artistic director

Attrice, regista, sceneggiatrice, lavora in numerose fiction tv con le quali si fa conoscere al grande pubblico (Incantesimo, Provaci ancora Prof, Centovetrine, Vivere, Un passo dal cielo, Il Paradiso della Signore per citarne alcune). Inizia a scrivere per il teatro e le sue pièces vengono prodotte da Gigi Proietti al teatro ridotto del Brancaccio. Il suo primo cortometraggio, per il quale scrive la sceneggiatura e cura la regia, è Loop del 2008. Tra gli altri a seguire, Do ut des che vince ben tre premi al festival Tulipani di Seta Nera, fino ad Ecce mater il suo ultimo lavoro. Tutti i suoi film hanno una forte connotazione sociale. Nel 2017 esce il suo primo romanzo Poker di donne in cerca di cuori. È ideatrice e direttore artistico del Fabriano Film Fest dal 2013.

Gianni Quaranta

Set designer

Director and set designer, Oscar winner in 1987 for the set design of the film A room with a view by James Ivory, received after three nominations, boasts a long and esteemed career as a director, set designer, costume designer and designer in the world of cinema and theater (lyric, prose and ballet), in advertising, in the development of creative projects as well as for exhibitions and events. He works in the most prestigious theaters in Italy and around the world. His scenography for Aida, at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, is so acclaimed that it is still used today, after over 30 continuous years. It is impossible to mention the countless successes in the various areas of his brilliant career obtained thanks to his undoubted artistic sensitivity and versatile technical professionalism, supported by the awarding of the highest awards worldwide.

Mimmo Colapresti

Director

Director, made his cinema debut in 1995 with the film La seconda volta with Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, whose screenplay won the Solinas prize, while the film was presented in the official section of the Cannes festival. His second work La parola amore esiste, won the prize Nastro d’Argento for Best Original Story. He continues his career as a director of feature films and documentaries, such as L'abbuffata, Uno per tutti, Volevo solo vivere, Aspromonte – La terra degli altri, Romanzo Radicale (2022) and as an actor in films by Comencini, Peréz, and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.

Massimiliano Bruno

Actor and director

Director, screenwriter and actor, made his directorial debut in 2011 with the film Nessuno mi può giudicare, with which he received five nominations for the David di Donatello prize and won the Nastro d'Argento prize for best comedy. The following year his second film, Viva l'Italia with which he obtained two nominations for the David di Donatello prize. Gli ultimi saranno ultimi received three nominations for the David di Donatello prize and two for the Nastri d’Argento prize. Beata ignoranza obtains a nomination for the Nastri d’Argento for best subject. He is the author, director and actor of the crime trilogy: Non ci resta che il crimine, Ritorno al crimine and C’era una volta il crimine starring Giallini, Gassmann, Tognazzi, Pastorelli Buccirosso.

Paola Mammini

Screenwriter

Screenwriter, won the David di Donatello prize in 2016 together with Paolo Genovese and the other screenwriters, for the hit movie Perfetti sconosciuti. He also signs with Paolo Genovese, who is also the director, Tutta colpa di Freud, the subject of which is taken from his novel Stavolta giuro è diverso. Her professionalism leads her to teach at the “Luchino Visconti” Civic School of Cinema in Milan and to collaborate with some of the best-known names in the Italian cinema scene: Fausto Brizzi, Neri Marcorè, Maurizio Careddu, Maria Di Biase, Beniamino Catena, Liliana Cavani, Paolo Costella , Carlo Verdone, Rolando Ravello.

Salvatore Basile

Screenwriter and director

Was born in Naples and lives in Rome, where he works as a screenwriter and director. Among his screenplays we remember: Ultimo, San Pietro, Cime tempestose, La cittadella, Sarò sempre tuo padre, L’uomo sbagliato, Fuga per la libertà, Giovanni Paolo II, L’uomo che cavalcava nel buio. He is the creator of TV series such as: : Il giudice Mastrangelo, Il Restauratore, Un passo dal cielo e Una pallottola sul cuore. He directed: L’uomo che cavalcava nel buio and some episodes of Il restauratore, Don Matteo 8 and Un passo dal cielo 2. He is currently working on two television series based on the novels of Maurizio de Giovanni (Commissario Ricciardi) and Chiara Gamberale (Le luci nelle case degli altri). Since 2005 he has been teaching the Master of Television and Film Screenwriting at the Catholic University. His debut novel dates back to 2016: Lo strano viaggio di un oggetto smarrito followed by La leggenda del ragazzo che credeva nel mare (2018), and Cinquecento catenelle d’oro, also published by Garzanti in 2022.

Andrea Magnani

Director

Screenwriter and director, lives between Rome and Trieste. He has worked as a screenwriter on numerous TV series including Cops – una banda di poliziotti directed by Luca Miniero and L'Ispettore Coliandro, directed by the Manetti Bros. In 2017 he made his directorial debut with Easy – un viaggio facile facile. Presented in competition at the 70th Locarno Festival. Easy has participated in more than 100 festivals around the world and was nominated for 2 David di Donatello including best debut director. In 2019 he wrote the feature film Paradise, a new life by Davide Del Degan, which premiered at the Busan Film Festival and the Turin Film Festival. His second feature film La lunga corsa, una commedia stralunata, was released in 2023.

Alessandro Pondi

Director

Screenwriter and director, made his debut in 1997 with the novel Gli angeli non mangiano hamburger and subsequently began writing for TV and cinema with Luciano Vincenzoni and Tonino Guerra. For the cinema he signs both auteur films such as K. Il bandito by Martin Donovan and commercial christmas movies, with which he however wins the "Golden Ticket" twice. He has worked with screenwriters such as Martin Donovan, Sandro Petraglia, Andrea Purgatori, Alessandro Camon, Luciano Vincenzoni, Alessandro Bencivenni. His directorial debut was in 2017 with the film Chi m'ha visto; he will later film Tutta un’altra vita, School of Mafia, Una commedia pericolosa (2023).

Actor

Actor, has worked in theater with directors like Giorgio Strehler, Peter Stein, Klaus Gruber, Luca Ronconi, Robert Fortune, Luca Barbareschi, Antonio Calenda, Giancarlo Marinelli, Patrick Rossi Gastaldi and Rimas Tuminas. At the cinema he worked with directors such as Mel Gibson, Peter Greenaway, Giuseppe Piccioni, Ruggero Deodato, Enrico Oldoini, Pappi Corsicato and Florestano Vancini. He also collaborated with Wim Wenders, Pina Baush and Franco Fontana for the photography of some works.

Sara Zanier

Model and actress

Model and actress, she is known to the general public for having participated in important TV drama. In 2008 she starred in Incantesimo as the protagonist in the role of Doriana Tozzi; in the same year he joined the main cast of the Canale 5 soap opera CentoVetrine, in which he played, until 2013, the role of Serena Bassani. He works in other television series, including Un passo dal cielo 3 and Le three roses of Eva 3, both broadcast in 2015. He also returns to work for the big screen, acting as the protagonist in the film Suddenly a Man, directed by Claudio Insegno. With the same director in 2014 he made his theater debut with the show Come un cindereltolo. For the big screen, his latest work is Mouths Useless, directed by Claudio Uberti (2022). In 2023 she joined the cast of the series Un posto al sole on Rai 3 in the role of architect Diana Della Valley.​

Simone Massi

Animator and director

Today is considered one of the greatest animators at an international level, with over 200 awards won at the main national and foreign festivals. For his works he does everything "by hand on paper, like a century ago with pencils, charcoal, chalk, graphite and ink". Thanks to his 10th work Piccola mare with the narrative voice of Marco Paolini he began his international activity with French productions. In 2019 he was awarded the Flaiano prize for his animations in Stefano Savona's film La strada dei Samouni, the first time the prize was awarded to an author of animated films. In 2022 he made two new short films: A guerra finita and In quanto noi. Both works, after having obtained recognition throughout the world, were awarded ex aequo at the 2023 prize Nastri d’Argento, a unique case in the history of one of the most coveted Italian awards. His first feature film Invelle was presented in 2023 at the 80th Venice Film Festival, and won the Carlo Lizzani award.

Neri Marcorè

Actor

Eclectic actor from the Marche region, began his activity at a very young age. His career took off in the 1990s, making him famous nationally thanks to programs such as Pippo Chennedy Show alongside Sabrina and Corrado Guzzanti and L’ottavo nano. His success at the cinema began in 1994 in the film Ladri di cinema, directed by Piero Natoli, but the turning point was with Pupi Avati's film Il cuore altrove with which he received a David nomination and the prize Nastro d’Argento for best leading actor. He will continue his career in films such as La seconda notte di nozze, Gli amici del bar Margherita, Ravanello pallido, Se devo essere sincera, L’estate del mio primo bacio, Smetto quando voglio, Sei mai stata sulla luna, Uno di famiglia, until a Si muore solo da vivi (2020)

Fabio Consorti

Director and artist

Artist and film director born in San Benedetto del Tronto. He creates works in which pictorial practice is contaminated with the electronic film image. He is author of films, videos and performances. In 2012 he shot his first feature film Il sole dei cattivi, the following year Maam. He continues his activity as a director and producer of feature films and short films to the present day, with films such as Havana Kyrie, Acqua alle funi and Mammai.

Susanna Rotunno

Rai journalist

Graduated in literature in Rome and then journalist, she has always been particularly involved in theater and cinema. A long collaboration with the Teatro dell'Orologio for the production and choice of theatrical texts. At Rai since the 1980s she has always worked on cinema as a correspondent, first on radio and then on TV. Last job as head of service in the Culture editorial team of Rainews 24. He is part of the Board of the National Film Journalists Union which rewards Italian cinema with the awarding of the Silver Ribbons to documentaries, short films, TV series and films.

Daniela Terreri

Actress

Actress and singer, studied at the conservatory and graduated in piano and singing, and then also graduated in Musical Theater direction. His debut on the big screen came with Paolo Sorrentino's film L’amico di famiglia. She is known to the general public above all for her role as a policewoman in Provaci ancora Prof and that of a waitress in the series La ladra. Among his many commitments is music, as she teaches at the Campobasso Conservatory.

Antonella Fattori

Actress

Actress graduated from the Silvio d'Amico Academy in Rome, began working in the theater for Squarzina and Ronconi. Her first experiences as a leading actress were with La messa è finita by Nanni Moretti and L'aria serena dell'Ovest by Silvio Soldini. She wins the Flaiano award for his performance in the TV miniseries Nessuno escluso. Many of his performances in successful TV series such as: La donna del treno by Carlo Lizzani, Ciao Professore by Josè Maria Sanchez, Elisa di Rivombrosa by Cinzia Th Torrini, Don Matteo, R.I.S delitti imperfetti, Le tre rose di Eva, up to today , with the participation in La storia of Francesca Archibugi.

Film, theater and TV actress, she has starred in many films at the cinema, including Teste di coconut, Love and underworld by Manetti Bros, The hairdresser by Stefano Incerti, The professor Cinderella by Leonardo Pieraccioni, A Perfect Day by Ferzan Ozpetec, and many others.
