Masha is a 6th grade student from a small provincial town. She is the pride of the school and an example for her classmates.
In a German lesson, she is asked to write an essay about her dad, in which she needs to talk about her relationship and joint hobbies with her parent. But what can you share with a child whose dad has been unable to get rid of alcohol addiction for several years?
Not knowing how her classmates will react to the truth, Masha makes up a story about a noble musketeer from the 17th century, calling him her dad.
