Ancona, post–World War II. Teresa is 11 years old and wants to play football with the neighborhood boys who, though hesitant at first, eventually accept. But on one condition: a 5-a-side match, and the winners keep the field. Despite the prejudices and discrimination of the time, Teresa decides to set-up a team of girls.
