Free-themed fiction and animation shorts are admitted to the exhibition. Documentaries, music videos and video art works are excluded. A maximum of two works for each director made not before 01/01/2019 can participate. The maximum duration of the shorts must be 15 minutes including the titles. Works from other festivals and films from any geographic origin and language are also admitted. For all films not in Italian, subtitles in Italian and/or English and the list of dialogues in Italian and/or English are required. The management reserves the right to admit to the contest short films notwithstanding the current regulations.

How to register:
To register each single work it is mandatory:
– Proceed to purchase the “Registration Fee” in the appropriate section of the site.
– Fill in all required fields on the checkout page.
– Pay the registration fee via Paypal (or credit card).
– Wait for the confirmation email from the automatic registration system.
The registration of the work must be done online on the website, on the dedicated page, no later than 11.59 pm local time on August 15, 2022. The registration fee for the festival through the site is Euro 15.00 to partially cover the festival secretarial costs. In the case of registration through Filmfreeway or Festhome, the individual registration procedures provided for by each portal are valid. By registering for the Competition, each individual author is responsible for the content of his works. Failure to comply with these clauses will result in exclusion from the event. All the works received and considered compliant with these regulations will be viewed by a commission which, at its sole discretion, will choose those admitted to the Competition and presented to the jury that will award the prizes. The works and all the material sent will be part of an archive with the possibility of being used for
other non-profit events, even in excerpts. The selected shorts with their respective screening days will be communicated in good time on the facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/fabrianofilmfest.it/ to allow the authors to be present at the screening and / or eventual award ceremony. The Jury made up of experts will assign the prizes and any mentions. The Youth Jury will in turn decide the best film.
There is also a prize awarded by the public attending the screenings. The prizes must be collected by the director or his delegate during the awards ceremony. The personal data (Law 675/96) transmitted will be processed only for the purposes of the Festival. The selected and / or awarded films may be screened in other reviews or festivals connected to the Fabriano Film Fest. For all that is not provided for, the rules of the Italian Civil Code apply.
